Redondo Installation
Instructions
LOW ENERGY
FLUORESCENT LIGHTING ¨ FOR 14", USE ONE 22 WATT AND ONE 32 WATT
FLUORESCENT CIRCLINE LAMP.
BEFORE YOU
START:

IMPORTANT FIXTURE’S GROUND WIRE MUST BE CONNECTED FOR LAMP TO
OPERATE.
CAUTION: IF POWER SUPPLY WIRES OR
CORDS ARE LOCATED WITHIN THREE INCHES OF BALLAST, USE WIRE OR CORD
SUITABLE FOR AT LEAST 90°C (194°F). TO PREVENT RISK OF FIRE, DO NOT USE
FIXTURE ON DIMMING CIRCUITS.
MOUNTING
INSTRUCTIONS

Remove fixture from
box.

Lay lamp on it’s back (metal
surface down).

Remove plastic lens by gently
lifting.
-
Remove bulbs.
-
Remove mounting hardware from
inside of box.
-
Assemble spring clips to
fixture, by positioning clips on the wide end of the “T”-slots with the
two downward turned legs of the clips extending through the fixture.
Pull the clips away from the fixture center until the clips snap into
the “T”-slots. (See Illustration 1)

Secure fixture’s mounting screws
(only screwing in halfway) to “J-box”. (See Illustration 2)

Using wirenuts connect ground
wire (green) from fixture to ground wire from “J-box”. (See Illustration
3)

Using wirenuts connect black
wire from fixture to black wire from “J-box”, and repeat the same
process with the white wires. (See Illustration 3)

Attach fixture to mounting
screws, turn fixture clockwise, and tighten screws. (See Illustration
4)

Plug large circline lamp first.
Check the ballast label to determine which lamp plug to use. Place lamp
over spring clips, and gently push over the third clip. Repeat this
procedure for the second (inner) circline bulb. (See Illustrations 5
& 6)

To install acrylic plastic lens,
hold lens up to fixture, and fasten small screws securely to
fixture.

Restore power at fuse box or
circuit breaker box.
