21" Slimline Installation Instructions

LOW ENERGY FLUORESCENT LIGHTING
¨ FOR 21", USE ONE 32 WATT AND ONE 40 WATT FLUORESCENT CIRCLINE LAMP.

BEFORE YOU START:

IMPORTANT
FIXTURE’S GROUND WIRE MUST BE CONNECTED FOR LAMP TO OPERATE.

CAUTION: IF POWER SUPPLY WIRES OR CORDS ARE LOCATED WITHIN THREE INCHES OF BALLAST, USE WIRE OR CORD SUITABLE FOR AT LEAST 90°C (194°F). TO PREVENT RISK OF FIRE, DO NOT USE FIXTURE ON DIMMING CIRCUITS.

MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Remove fixture from box.

  2. Remove plastic lens by depressing. Gently push lens to one side exposing edge. Lift edge of lens to remove.

  3. Remove bulbs from spring clips during installation. (Illustration #1)

  4. Remove socket which is secured to bulb. (Illustration #2)

  5. Remove mounting hardware from inside of box.

  6. Follow Illustration #3 to mount and wire fixture.

  7. Attach ground wire from fixture to fixture mounting screw. (Illustrations #3,a,b,c,d)

  8. Reinstall bulb into fixture. (Illustration #4)

  9. Flex lens and slide under lip of fixture to reinstall. (Illustration #5)
